New York State Surcharge

This surcharge was created by statute and signed into law in May 1999, for the sole purpose of providing Workers’ Compensation coverage for Black Car Funds in the state of New York. As outlined in the Executive Law, Article 6-F, the current rate of (2.75%) New York state surcharge will be applied to every ride.
