Waiting Policy - Book A Car
At Book A Car, we understand that travel plans don’t always go as scheduled. That’s why we offer a fair and transparent waiting policy to accommodate any delays while ensuring efficient service for all our passengers.
Airport Pickups
- Complimentary Waiting Time:
- Domestic Flights: Up to 30-40 minutes of free waiting time from the scheduled pickup time or actual flight landing time, whichever is later.
- International Flights: Up to 60 minutes of free waiting time to allow for customs and immigration clearance.
- Flight Tracking: We monitor your flight to adjust the pickup time accordingly. If your flight is delayed, we will update your reservation automatically.
- Extended Waiting: If additional waiting time is needed beyond the complimentary period, standard waiting charges will apply in 15-minute increments at the applicable hourly rate.
Non-Airport Pickups (Point-to-Point & Hourly Rides)
- Complimentary Waiting Time:
- Sedans & SUVs: 15 minutes of free waiting time from the scheduled pickup time.
- Hourly Bookings: The ride time begins at the scheduled booking time, and the vehicle remains at your disposal for the reserved duration.
- Extended Waiting: If the passenger has not arrived within the complimentary waiting period, additional wait time will be charged in 15-minute increments at the standard rate. If the passenger does not arrive within 30 minutes, the ride may be considered a no-show, and full fare charges may apply.
No-Show & Late Arrivals
- A ride will be marked as a no-show if the passenger fails to arrive within the allotted waiting period and does not communicate with our driver or dispatch team.
- In case of delays, we encourage passengers to notify us as soon as possible to make accommodations and avoid cancellation fees.
Special Considerations
- If additional wait time is required due to unexpected delays, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the passenger’s needs based on vehicle availability.
- For multi-stop rides or special requests, waiting time policies may vary and will be communicated at the time of booking.
Extended Waiting Time & Charges
If waiting time exceeds the complimentary period, the following hourly rates will apply:
Charges will be prorated based on the actual waiting time beyond the complimentary period.
